Things Parents at ATMS should know:

EXTENDED ABSENCES

If you are planning to take your child out of school for an extended period of time (more than 1 week) you will need to notify your child’s teacher as well as the office at least 3 weeks prior to your departure date. Extended absences from school will likely mean that students will develop gaps in learning which may limit their chances of success in later years. Therefore, the District strongly encourages parents to consider shorter absences, or that parents take trips in conjunction with an existing school holiday, such as Winter or Spring Break. See the attached form below for an EXTENDED ABSENCE LETTER.

ABSENT OR LATE STUDENTS

If your child is going to be away or late, please use the website "Contact Us" feature or call the office at 604-850-3511. Our answering machine is available 24 hours. If you do not call us, we will call you. We will mark all students “Unexcused” who are not accounted for by a parent phone call.

LOST AND FOUND

If your student has lost items, lost and found boxes are located by the office in the middle school and in the entrance to ATSS. Please label all of your student’s uniform items.

USER PAY BUSSING

If you have questions regarding User Pay Bussing, please call our Transportation Department at 604-855-5278 or email school_bus@sd34.bc.ca
